This course is designed to engage students in the application of mathematical concepts and skills involved in everyday situations.  The course is aligned with the individualized goals and objectives for each student.  Students will learn how math affects the world around them.  A variety of approaches are used, with an emphasis on the skills needed for the college placement exams, practical applications and critical thinking skills.
