The Marketing II course will help students prepare for a career in marketing. This course will focus on the concepts, tools, and analysis that underlie marketing decisions. We will focus on the "demand side:" the underlying demands of the environment, customer behavior and competitive behavior that affect marketing decisions. We will also illustrate the tools marketers use to design marketing programs. This course is built around a syllabus, textbook(s), and/or online materials. Topics will include Global Economies, Business and Social Responsibility, International Trade, Communication Skills, and preparing for, initiating and closing the sale. Channels of Distribution, Stock Handling and Inventory Control, Risk Management and Developing a Business and Marketing Plan, in which the students will bridge the gap between education and the world of work, will also be covered.
