District earns an 'A'

The Mount Olive School District is one of the best K-12 school systems in New Jersey according to Niche, a website that compiles data to determine the nation's best places to live, work, and learn. In the recently released report, Mount Olive earned an "A" rating and is ranked 38th in the state, ahead of many well-regarded neighboring districts.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users.

Each district received a letter grade in the following categories:
Academics
Diversity
Teachers
College prep
Clubs & activities
Health & safety
Administration
Sports
Food
Resources & facilities
